We made it back from Memphis...at 5:30am this morning. It's nice to travel when Katie sleeps because her stops are the longest. (Ty can eat fries from the bag if he needs to.) The downside to traveling through the night, while the kids sleep, is that when we arrive home they are ready to rock while Mom and Dad are ready to crash. We still have a major grocery stop to make and I left my hairdryer in Memphis, so to Target we go. I have lots of coupons for the grocery store...I'm curious to see how much I can save. It's like a game to me.
We had a great time over the holidays. I hope y'all did to. I'll post pics of our visit soon.

Rule #1: ALWAYS have backup hairdryer stashed somewhere in house.
What happens when you're in the middle of getting ready for work, big night out, kids graduation (even if it is from kindergarten...), I don't know - something really important and the one you have craps out?? then what???
Can you tell I've been there before?? Yep - half-naked, in a hurry for something really important, hair dripping, running late and the hairdryer stops. I now have three or four stashed through the house... just in case the backup stops... or the backup's backup stops...
Smart. Danny kept telling me he was sorry about my hair dryer...#1 sign that I was not having a good hair day!
