Well, I turned 31 on Saturday. Not a big deal...I don't have issues with getting older. I have a friend who's birthday was on the 11th and her husband planned a surprise party for her on the 16th. I think that I had a babysitter lined up within 2 hours of receiving the invitation!! Danny and I haven't been out together since our anniversary this summer, so this night out was going to happen!! We had a great time and enjoyed being with the group. Later a much smaller group went to a karoke (spell check doesn't work)bar...cash only...reminded me of McP's if you are familiar with Danny's old bar job! Watching these people get up, stand in the spot light and belt it was so foreign to me. I had no desire to get up there and didn't understand how or why they did. Now, if we had gone dancing...
So for the best gift ever, Danny gave me time! I got to sleep late on Saturday, take a nap and shop at my favorite store with a Starbucks coffee in hand without any children to tend to! To top it all off, there was a mom with an obvious 3 year old boy with her who was making her life miserable. It made my time alone even sweeter because I knew what she was going through!! Then on Sunday I got to sleep until 9:30am. Those of you who know me...this doesn't happen anymore. I think the last time I slept that late was pre-Ty. Let's just say that this sleep was mildly....induced.

Happy Happy Birthday!!! Sounds like you had an awesome day. Nothing like shopping with a Starbucks in hand. (My favorite place to do that is in Target- love that store)
