Didn't get the job
Thanks for thinking of me during this week. I was really confident in how my interview went and the fact that there were 3 jobs open at this school (kind of embarrassing to mention that fact). I just don't get it. Not to sell anyone short that got the job (or other jobs that I am also fighting for) but what does it take that I don't have? Danny and I both agree that is has something to do with the local university being huge and the fact that so many of the education students come back to teach in the district they graduated from. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful that I do have a job waiting for me in the fall (districts always need subs!) but I'm ready for my own classroom again.

So not cool. I don't have your personal email or I would write you that way. Have you thought about sitting down with your principal to see where you are lacking? I *think* OH rules are just pretty strict, and maybe there is something you can do to compete with these young whippersnapers.
Seriously, this is no way to treat such a valuable sub who they love to use all the time. Truly ridiculous.
Oh bummer. I am so sorry to hear that! We still think that you are the best, even though "we" doesn't really matter, since "we" aren't paying the bills.
