HFMD

Ty has Hand, Foot and Mouth disease, HFMD, as labeled by the CDC.

Have you ever heard of this? It has kept Ty out of daycare and me home with him. It's super contagious, which is why he can't go anywhere. Thank goodness he is not feeling too bad.

my little bro had it....Also, Jake had it when I was about 6 mos preggo w/D--insanely high fever and lethargy, but that was about it after a few days

One of Sarah Bradley's little friends has it, too! Sadly, he gave it to his 6 week old brother and the baby ended up with Menengitis!
Our Pediatrician said it's a common childhood disease.

What! I have never even heard about this. I hope that he gets better soon! And here's to praying that mama is doing ok too.

We have a little friend who is getting over it right now, so we're not allowed anywhere near him (or the rest of the family). He's had no appetite b/c of the sores in his mouth, and Derenda said that he's been pretty miserable. Poor Ty! I hope he feels better soon, and we'll be praying that Katie doesn't get it, too!

James had sores in his mouth, but it wasn't HFMD (unfortuately)

We've heard of it too. Very common and unfortunately it's viral so there's nothing doctors can do until it's run the course.
