Snow pictures

Katie's little snow boots are a great hand-me-down from our neighbor, Erin. Katie is fascinated with them and is so excited that she is able to walk in the snow also..."I step?" She wore the purple plaid jumper to church today and would NOT let me take it off of her after we came back home. I thought getting out of the tights and dress and putting on knit pants would be a great idea...she only thought taking off the tights, putting on knit pants and LEAVING on the dress was a great idea, so that's what we did!

The temp reached into the 40's today and we experienced some melting. Because we got so much ice first (and then topped it with 6 inches of snow) it was hard to clear the surfaces completely. Notice Danny had the metal shovel out. We had to break up the melting ice and then come in and shovel off the slushy mess to clear the sidewalks and driveways. Like in the South, we are now plagued by the freezing temps tonight and what might happen with the water on the roads, sidewalks, etc. We are also supposed to get measurable snow on Tuesday...and our district is out of calamity days. This might be a long February.
