Good Friday

Not only is today Good Friday, but it was a good Friday! Danny was also off and the four of us had a good day, dispite the rain! Ty and Danny put together a Lego airplane, Katie got to watch the final scene of both Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast...remember the final scene is where the fairy tale ending occurs and Cinderella and Belle are both wearing their "princess" dresses rather than their every day blah outfit....the only part Katie is interested in. Two-year-old's don't understand any part of the fairy tale other than the outfit that would show up at Halloween. Have you ever seen a little girl dressed in her Halloween costume as Cinderella before the Fairy Godmother showed up? I got to sell some old nick-nacks at the local resale shop and found a few new baskets for different organization projects around the house. Organization soothes my soul. I really did find a sense of calm when the DVDs from the broken laundry basket sitting in the middle of the living room found a real home. (It's a long story but here's the basics: Broken TV cabinet>laundry basket became quick fix home for DVDs>new TV cabinet much smaller with NO storage>weeks of where do I put the DVDs?>new basket for DVD home. There you go.)

On another note, I am going to start back up with graduate school this summer. I plan on taking 1 course, but would love to work it out to take 2...not sure if the calendar will agree. I haven't taken a class in 2 years and at the rate I'm going, I might not finish in the time frame they set forth.
