Busy

I have not posted since March. The blog thing has turned into work and I haven't stayed committed to it. So what's such a big deal that blogging is "work"? Nothing big, just lots of little things. School is over in 3 weeks and the end-of-the-year stuff is in full swing. I haven't been working on a Master's class for a while but start back up hot and heavy next Saturday. My capstone (the final project) is in a seminar style and I will be in class from 9-5pm for the next 3 Saturdays (shoot me now) but I will be finished by the middle of June. Danny and I have booked a cruise for early July and that's our true countdown clock! We haven't been on a couple-only vacation since before the kids were born. We will be traveling with a coworker and his spouse so it should be fun. We just got a tip yesterday that is too good not to share. So - we all know one of the main activites on a cruise ship is drinking! Our neighbor said the thing to do is to buy a kid's drink card (around $5 per day) which allows for unlimited virgin fruity beverages. Then, when you stop at a port, go off ship, by a bottle (or 2) of alcohol and pour the alcohol into an empty water bottle, which you can slip back on the ship. Finally, use the illegal alcohol to spike the virgin drinks. Sounds brilliant. I'll let you know if it works or not, because that is definitely worth a try!
