new kitchen faucet

I woke up the other morning and water was all over the kitchen floor. Since Danny wasn't home, I had to play "plumber" and assess the situation. Turns out that the leak was from inside the faucet. This was the first time that we had seen the water, but it obviously had been leaking for a while, because the copper plumbing was green and there was a lot of corrosion around the area. So, Danny and I packed the kids up and went to Lowes. I love that store! We picked out a new faucet, with so much time spent in the aisle that I had to distract Ty with the nearby display of toilet seats! There was a Dora potty seat and we were able to discuss all of the characters while Danny read the specifics about our new faucet. I then bribed Ty with food and we were able to walk around a little more!

We then went to Sam's for a few things and sampled a few food items. Ty ate beef jerky and loved it! On the way home, Danny took my hand and kissed it (something he has always done). Well, Ty wanted to kiss my hand also, so I reached back and took Ty's hand. He proceeded to kiss my hand for almost 5 minutes. It was so cute and I loved every minute of it! (Part of his fascination with kissing right now is the "smack" noise that he can make while kissing.) Despite any other motive he might have had, I was in heaven with him giving me those cute little kisses!
