We have a little friend that loves to come out at night and occupy our front step. My guess is that he's having a fine gourmet dinner off of the bugs that are attracted to our front porch light. He's been here for 2 nights and I can't find him during the day. Not that I'm a "frog person" but there's something about having a little wildlife around....

hey! did you steal him from our yard??!! we have one just like him!! although I have to tell you a story... let me preface with I'm deathly afraid fo snakes (ask Danny)... Back at the beginning of the summer David came in and said "you got to come out here and see this" I had no idea what he was talking about. so I went out the garage and as I was turning the corner I saw something that looked like the head of a snake poking out of the edge fo the garage door frame. I was so petrified I couldn't even move!! David said "what are you waiting for - come here and look" as he was point around the other side of the door. It seemed like I stood there forever - no words would come out. Finally as I backed up (to presumable get away from a snake) I saw the other side of the door and the frog he was pointing to. I damn near broke into tears I was so relieved. he was trying to show me the frog. in the darkness I had seen a piece of moulding that had come loose at the edge of the door frame and 'thought' it was a snake. it wasn't - just a piece of wood. After explainig what I thought had happened I told him he was lucky. if he had brought me outside to show me a snake he was about to become a divorced man - his response "do you think I'm THAT stupid to try and show you a snake??!!"
amen zookeeper...I can't even watch snakes on TV and poor Ty has only been into the reptile house at the zoo once.
