Nana, Grandpa and Kristi came up for the weekend. We hated Uncle Mat and Aunt Melanie couldn't join them. It would have been awesome to have everyone together! We had Christmas together this weekend and had a great time. Santa (round 2) was very generous! Ty received his 4th train set (this one has a remote control like Grandpa's) and Katie racked up on clothes. They left this morning and now we are back to having both sets of family live 9 hours away and we're not sure when we will see them again. Of course there will be visits in the future, but when the visits aren't planned it makes it harder.
Tonight's the National Championship game and of course everyone wore their Buckeye gear to school. I expect students to be dragging in tomorrow morning because they stayed up to watch the game. Because it's an 8:30pm start...let's hope it doesn't go into overtime. I need at least some kind of productivity out of my students!
Ty has a fever-thing going on....might have to miss work tomorrow. He also pooped in his big-boy underwear today. Any tips on how to get a little boy to poop in the potty? I am really interested in talking with his pediatrician about the situation but I couldn't get an appointment for his 3 year checkup until early February.

Only b/c you asked.... I think your just have to wait the poop thing out. He will go when he is ready, and if you scar him now he might be wearing Depends to kindergarden. Jake was 3.5 and D just a little behind that--Boys are slooow
I love that picture...I think its funny that it really was how we were sitting, with all of us packed on the couch, not posed. We had a great time, can't wait til next time!
