Happy Thanksgiving!

We traveled to Clemson and had Thanksgiving with my parents. As always we had a wonderful time and hated to come home. Let's not even mention the snowy forecast for our week and the fact that we were without coats on Thanksgiving day. Ahhh, but I digress into my usual frustration over climate differences and that's not what this post is about! Wednesday was spent enjoying the day together and prep for our Thursday meal. Thursday was awesome with time spent outdoors and a fantastic meal by Mom and Dad. They are great in the kitchen and I really have no interest in joining them. I have yet to make anything for a "big" meal and don't have the desire to. I mentioned that in 9 years (random number chosen to make my point) that I would still NOT be making Thanksgiving dinner and Mom proceeded to mention that I would be 40 then. Hmmm...maybe we should start planning the party?

Ty spent every minute of the weekend riding his motorcycle that Mommer and Grandy got for him earlier in the year. By the end of the weekend he was riding while standing up and thought that he was the equivalent to an X-Gamer!

Saturday was the big game and Danny was able to get a ticket from my uncle. He found a free parking spot, which we found out is outside the loop only, and had to walk downtown to get a new hat (which he thinks he needs a ploy like rain to get a new hat, rather than just accepting the fact that I know he's going to get one no matter what!) We had our little "tailgate" at the house and both kids slept through the entire game! I was able to watch the entire game! It was awesome (and so was the game!) Danny made it home soon after the game was over because his spot was so close to a campus exit and said he had a great time!
This picture was taken after the game!
We left Saturday night around 8pm and made it home at 5:15am this morning, with thanks going to my driving machine of a husband, 128 ozs of Diet Coke, a peanut butter Twix and 2 oatmeal creme pies.

oohhhh - an all nighter driver... I can't even get mine to agree to driver longer than 9 hours... I'm not sure he'd do it at night... never asked (but we don't have kids so it's not a necessity yet... ; )

Glad to hear you had a good time!
