the snow and ice

I forgot to mention that the reason I was able to get into my laundry room today was because we were on Day 2 of school being closed. From the same ice storm that rocked Arkansas and Kentucky, we got about 3/4" of ice topped with 6 inches of snow. Fun stuff. We were still under a Level 2 Snow Emergency this morning and by closing school, we used up our district's last flex day. Any other closings will have to be made up. (We lost 3 days during the power outages in October left by the hurricane that hit Houston.)
