Ty had the best time playing in the snow that we received on Wednesday! The snow started about 9am and continued until around 10pm. We ended up with 6 inches and it is has gotten so cold around here that it's really too cold to go outside and play. The crazy thing for me is that we went to school on Thursday, despite 6 inches of snow falling the day before, and didn't go on Friday due to extreme temps! I know that Ty loves to play in the snow for several reasons, but I also know that one of those reasons is because he likes to come inside afterwards and have a nice cup of "fresh, hot chocolate".
Here's Katie during the time Ty was playing in the snow. I think she's a smart girl for choosing to stay inside where it's dry and warm and have a snack! And truly, as much fun as I would have had outside with Ty, I was happy to have an excuse to stay inside!

My kids are praying for the snow/rain possibilty that they are calling for here Monday night. And it will be freezing(not by much), so maybe we'll miss Tues--a girl can dream!
Sarah Bradley keeps asking me for snow. I keep trying to tell her that it doesn't really snow here...
