Katie's actual 2nd birthday is today! She has no clue...Ty was even confused. He figured that since she turned 2 during her birthday party, then she must be 3 today!!
I love American Idol and I joined a pool at work. My money is on Allison and I think I have a good shot at winning! I just saw her perform and the judges are loving tonight's performance...except for Simon.
I just can not keep up with the housekeeping around here like I wish I could. Now, I could stay up cleaning, but I would much rather spend my evening watching a little American Idol and writing on my blog! Usually if I'm not on the blog or the internet then I am making up a test or doing other school work. That seems to have been occupying most of my time recently. I just find myself much more accepting of cr.p on the floor that I used to be.
I'm going to the prom this year! Bought a dress back home at good ole' Anderson Mall Dillards and will be going with several coworkers. I love being a part of the extra-curricular stuff at school so I figured I couldn't miss the prom! I won't even go into the type of "dancing" that goes on....
I'm starting back up with my masters degree. Looks like I will be finishing up during the summer 2010 session. I will be taking 1 class this summer and lots of professional development through my district that will help count toward my electives as "workshop hours". This leaves me with 2 classes, which I hope to take during next school year, and then my final project will be left for next summer. I would be taking 1 more class if it weren't for vacation. I figured in a 4 week class that I shouldn't miss 3 classes in 1 week.
As for our vacation, we are going to Gatlinburg! My Dad has access to one of his company's vacation homes for CHEAP and we will be spending Mon.- Thurs. at that property. We decided to rent another home closer to Gatlinburg for the weekend prior to do all of the "tourist stuff"...fudge, putt putt, Christmas stores, aquariums, etc. Should be fun and let's not forget cheap!

sounds busy at your house. congrats on the masters. i know it is hard to to that with a family. my mom got hers when i was 9 and i don't remember much of it - but i do remember she took some saturday classes and had to leave us with dad and i had a horse run away with me one day while she was gone. talk about random :)
don't worry about the house... it's okay... you should see mine.
and as for vacations... that sounds like a blast. i love the mountains and cheap vacations... fantastic. we are having a family vacation this summer with my family. the first in YEARS and i can't wait.
