Lately, Ty has been the bad kid and Katie has been the good. I find myself making sure to verbally and physically show Ty that he is a good boy, that I do love him and that his awful behavior does not change the way I love him. Today, all 4 of us were getting ready to load up into the car to run errands and eat lunch out at a restaurant of Ty's choosing. I'm not sure exactly what happened but Ty wasn't listening to his Daddy, so Danny decided that Ty was not going anywhere and he was staying home with his Daddy. No lunch at favorite restaurant. I found out after returning home that Ty pitched a fit so bad, he threw his head into the bottom hinge of the door and cut his head. Then fit-pitching turned into laying on the couch with an ice pack and a 15 min. nap for Ty. Are his tantrums because he is tired?
Well, part two of the bad today occurred with me and Katie in Target. So since it was just Katie and I, I decided to swing by Target before the grocery store. Katie's small little cold this morning turned into lethargy in the shopping cart (obviously something is wrong, because shopping is a natural stimulant!) and she even seemed to have a fever. I quickly finished up at the pharmacy and while attempting to pay for the Rx, Katie starts dry-heaving. Great. The pharmacist asked me if I needed a trashcan and handed over some paper towels. She was very helpful and helped me to get out of the store quickly. While the pharmacist was bagging my items she commented on a cute little dress I was getting for $6.00. Then she said....here's the good part....that the dress would be too big for me! What, a complete stranger commenting something like that? My response: "That was worth $6 just to hear you say that!" (Biggest Loser started 2 weeks ago and I have lost 2.5 pounds each week. Now, usually I don't have a problem losing 2 pounds. It's just that I usually gain it back before the weekend is over! Woo hoo!)
In working to finish my masters degree, I have found a location that offers online classes that are so cheap and easy and they fill my elective credits. I feel that they are so easy that take away the credibility of my degree! Ahhhhh, easy and cheap fits my life right now...who cares about credibility! :)

do tell about the graduate courses...
I thought of you and MH yesterday. I was waiting for a plane and this mom with her 2 -ish/ 3 -ish year old boy were waiting for the same plane. Mom had to go the bathroom and of course had to take the kid with her since she was by herself. Well, her son decided he wanted to SIT RIGHT THERE and continue to color in his coloring book. A nice tantrum ensued. The mom probably hated me for it but I couldn't stop smiling to myself. He was just too cute to be mad at!! And he just wanted to color!! : )
And congrats on the weight loss! Keep up the good work!
