The party was cute and it was great to meet our new neighbors! But, since you asked, ZK, I guess the cookies went over ok....let me explain. Of course they were yummy, but the party was kind of chaotic and when the cookies were placed on a serving tray by the hostess, the Polka Dots were hidden underneath a similar looking peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. I'm not sure how many people ate them. Cookie politics
On another note, we are having a concrete patio installed tomorrow morning. We should have done something like this years ago, but hey, at least it's happening now! So with a patio, comes landscaping in the fall and purchasing patio furniture. As you can imagine, we have been spending lots of time at Lowe's and Home Depot!
