A long week

As some of you have read in other areas of the internet, my grandfather passed away last week. The funeral was on Saturday in Georgia and we traveled down on Thursday. Before we left, Ty asked tons of questions about why he died, where did he go, and how did he get there. It was a challenge to answer his questions to say the least. I know that Granddaddy is in heaven and that was an easy answer to the "where" questions that Ty presented us with.

We flew down to Jacksonville and then rented a car to drive to our Georgia location. Both kids were thrilled to be on the airplanes and were fascinated with our "new" car....let's not even mention their excitement over a hotel room. And the hotel had a pool....they loved the pool and did a great job enjoying the water! Swim lessons are in our future.
